Present status of “ANURADHA” is culmination of reach practising experience of all Directors right from designing requirements of present building to formulating working procedures. All directors are highly qualified with vast experience in their speciality. “ANURADHA” is known for its excellence in ophthalmic services with personalized care. There are so many things to the credit of “ANURADHA” as first time in Sangli, namely ISO 9001:2008 certification, NABH certification, Topical Phaco Surgery, Multifocal IOLs, ICLs implantation, Toric lens implantation and Specular microscope for Eye bank. Present status of “ANURADHA” is well accepted by eligible candidates to receive skill and knowledge in terms of Fellowship Programme and Training Programme in Counselling and Infection Control Activity.

OUR JOURNEY

  • Inception of Anuradha Eye Hospital was on auspicious day of (Gudhi Padwa), 3rd April 2000
  • Name ‘Anuradha’ was decided as remembrance of Dr. Killedar’s mother of who passed away heavenly in 1988
  • This place was rented one, located in extension area of Sangli city called as Vishrambhag and measuring around 1500 sq. ft.
  • As practice started gaining acceleration and this rented area was not sufficient to meet increasing requirements. Shifting to new tailored constructed building became necessity and new place was acquired in 2002. New well furnished, well designed building measuring 7000 sq. ft. became ready on 11th July, 2004.
  • Besides infrastructural developments, Dr. Killedar was instrumental person in the development of service oriented institutes. Starting of Nertaprabha Institute of Refractive Surgery in year 2002 is one of them and presently leading institute for Lasik surgeries
  • “Netra Seva Foundation” was started on 1st Nov. 2005 with the objective to serve poor and needy community of the society in the field of Eye Bank & Eye Care Services. Dr. Killedar is one of the founder member of this NGO. Eye Bank was started in 2005.
  • Expert Doctors form specialized branches of Ophthalmology were joining “Anuradha” and Glaucoma Department was started in 2008, Cornea Department was started in 2011
  • We opened our first Vision Center at Palus on Jan. 2015
  • Retina Department was started in 2016.
  • To meet progressive development in the field of Ophthalmology, new challenges were accepted by top management. This new vision has resulted in inception of Anuradha Super Specialty Eye Hospital and change over to LLP concept of management.
  • New building with technological advantages and art of construction was ready for VASTUPUJA on 26th January 2019. This new 4 storey building is measuring around 36,000 sq. ft.
  • The new building is having 50 bed capacity, 5 well equipped OT, Charitable wing and ancillary facilities of Pharmacy, Optical Shop and Canteen.
  • We have team of 11 expert doctors and trained team of 62 staff members.
  • We started our second surgical unit at Jath on 13th April 2021. This 10 bed facility unit is well equipped OT and helping Anurdha’s aim to provide ophthalmic service where it is most needed.
