Operation Theatre Introduction
At Anuradha Superspeciality Eye Hospital we are having high-class fully equipped
“Operation Theater Complex” situated on third floor with attached recovery room.
- We have separate 5 Semi Modular OT's, namely Anterior segment, Posterior Segment, Charitable OT, Minor Procedure Room & LASIK OT.
In that 4 OT's are centrally air conditioned with AHU, HEPA filters.
Air filtration from Laminar Air flow in 3 stage i) 15 Microns ii) 5 Microns iii) 0.3 Microns
All the Operation theatres has polyurethane coating and monolithic self-levelling epoxy floor & vinyl floor.
- All the OTs are equipped with Modern Anaesthesia Work Stations with EMCO multi-parameter monitors. OT complex is well equipped with various modern gadgets for patient safety like Defibrillator, laryngoscope.
- Separate LIECA microscopes with video recorder cameras are allotted to each operation theatre. Ophthalmology OT also has advanced 3 PHACO machines (Constellation, Infinity & Laureate) and 2 Vitrectomy machine ( Constellation & Retikare)
- The facility of 3D CCTV is available for demonstration of live operative procedures for patients' relatives. The relatives can interact and get their queries answered by discussion with the OT Counsellor's.
- Monitoring of HIC –
- We have monitoring HIC through the various environmental reports like, Air Culture, Swabs, Water Analysis
- We follow the system of Sterilization as Autoclaving (Stem Sterilization), ETO (Gas Sterilization)
- Because of following all types of HIC protocol, we have achieved 0% infection rate in last 17 yrs.
For monitoring and evaluation, we have defined one Infection Control Committee.
That committee conduct every quarterly meeting for analyzing effectiveness
of infection control activities.
